Only if there are a bunch of people playing it from the FTP site can
overload the server and router causing audio starvation on your end.
Depends on their bandwidth allowance/server and router.  It will not
actually hurt anything to play it directly.  I run several servers here, FTP
HTTP, Shoutacst and Icecast with a 5+ mb connection to the Internet, it gets
bogged down at times even with that bandwidth.  We are lucky to host an ISP
in our building, so we get a really nice fat fiber connection to the Net.
