Observant, Dave.  I was an engineer at WAPE from 1956, (Before they went on 
the air @ 25 KW), through 1967 when Bill Brennan Died.  We used to get 
daytime QSL cards from Miami, and Washington DC.  The sea water conductivity 
was planned by employing the reciprocity theorem.
