WAPE, 690 kHz. Daytime saltwater ground conductivity from Orange Park on  the 
St. John River had a daytime protected 0.5 contour all the way up the coast  
to Myrtle Beach, S.C.
 
Since the coast curves east the signal just keeps on going.  Those  were the 
days with the old Brennan homemade 50 kW. transmitter.
