[BC] RE: DST vs Daytimers

DST actually got started during WWI in the British Isles.  Most factories,
etc. were then still lighted by natural light.  Hence the introduction of
"British Summer Time".

DST was originally Ben Franklin's idea.  Not one of his better ones.
