[BC] Daylight Saving Time - 2007

I have yet to see *any* discussion regarding the upcoming changes to Daylight
Savings Time, and how adversely this is going to affect us Daytimers and
stations with flea-power at night. We're going to lose a whole hour of morning
drive time for the first two weeks of November, and again in March. What (if
anything) will the FCC do to provide us with some kind of "relief"?

Last time the clocks were tinkered with, Uncle Charlie gave us (WFIF) 290
watts from 6-6:15am in April, after the clock-change. Assuming they
give us the
same thing for November, it's really not going to be very helpful, seeing as
the sunrise will appear to be an hour later... thus, that first hour's
programming will, essentially, be useless because of the *very*
strong skywave of WTWP.

What to do...? I wonder if the NAB proposal to give us access to FM
translators will ever come to fruition. If for no other reason, *this
one* would be a
good one!

Willie...
