[BC] XLR Connector wiring and phase...

Your e-mail caused me to take a look ! I have an Electro Voice 666 mike and 
cable
and you are correct the Cannon UA-3-11 female connector does have the center 
pin
marked G.  Other pins are marked 1 & 2 in normal fashion.
