That stuff still happens.  Wasn't it last year that a preacher at Baylor was
electrocuted while he was baptizing someone?  The moral of that was do not
stand in a pool of water while holding a microphone!

I always got it playing in bands.  None of that stuff had grounded or
polarized AC plugs.  You'd be in the middle of a song and get your nose up
against the mic, and WHAM!  Blue sparks.
