[BC] Cooledit Error Message

What version of windumbs does it reside on (if at all) ?
Can you 'see' the rest of the network from the problem machine?
If it were an 'old' version of windows... it would be the perfect error 
message for things like the autoexec.bat file, config.sys, all the pertinent 
*.ini files... etc.

   Remember please I don't know what version of what you're running but - 
since running setup didn't make things happen... it makes me think about the 
error message telling me about the machine, rather than the CoolEdit, having 
a problem..  apparently CoolEdit isn't automatically doing something 
necessary to replace the erroroneous file...
