 Jumping a pole, especially on big steel, is one of the more dangerous
 things that can be done.

 It really does depend on the intended destination of the dismantled tower.
 Insuring a used tower is no easy or cheap process.

 If it's destined for scrap, just fall it when it's short enough.

 They will get put up with crane though.
 Faster, safer, and often less expensive.
