[BC] HDRadio

The irony is that HDTV audio is substantially better then IBOC audio (and
especially IBOC stations with secondaries - HDTV audio simply blows that
away!).

Also, HDTV has something unique to offer. IBUZ has little more than
deceptive claims that it's CD quality on FM and FM quality on AM when
it's neither. In my market its coverage is far less than analog, the
secondaries have nothing to fall back on in less than perfect signal
areas and the analog/main mode switching, when processed separately,
is annoying as Hell and happens very often.

No one is spending much effort on showbiz quality programming because
there's no one to listen. Chicken and egg. Until there's programming
there's no incentive to buy excessively expensive receivers to get
voicetracked jukeboxes. CBS believes in it so much that they've fired
the people who could make it happen.

It's marketed by the Keystone Kops.
