Guess I missed that one...why did stations edit it?  It's not like their
sole hit was especially long nor as I recall it risqu?.
My favorite "station edit" was "Rich Girl" by Hall & Oates.  The line "it's
a b**ch girl" was replaced with "you're a rich girl".  If it was a label
edit I've never seen a copy.  Quite an edit for the pre-Adobe era.

Depends on your definition of risqu?. "Morning Girl" was about a
girl losing her virginity. This was after the summer of love, "Society's
Child", "The Wanderer", "Puff The Magic Dragon" and many others.
Then, of course, there were the station edits of "Kodachrome", but
that was a simple edit.
