[BC] NAB officially announces their new head

Alan I would guess probably not to much.

We all forget one thing. The main purpose for NAB is to lobby congress and 
the fcc on behalf of the broadcast industry.

It looks like this guy as a lobbyist is top draw.

been named a "Top Association Lobbyist" by The Hill multiple times, and has 
been featured in Beachum's Guide to Key Lobbyists. "

Sadly that means he will have to depend on the same inbread operational 
folks withing the NAB that pretty much run things now.

I don't see any major changes operationally. But I think he will do us well 
with congress and the fcc.

You can bet he was hired for his contacts and influence.

I still haven't figured out how you advocate for something when you have no 
knowledge of it or don't believe in it.  On the other hand perhaps the 
breath of fresh air will do NAB good.
