What I'm hearing...unconfirmed, at this point...is that WAVM applied
for a power increase (from 16W/0FT to 250W/0FT), but being a Class D
station in the reserved portion of the FM band, failed to apply for a
class increase as well, thus opening the channel to competing
applications.
