We never had names for any equipment at my stations except but in two instances. I had an old Shaefer 903 automation that was called FRED, with a Teletype KSR logger terminal that we called ALFRED. Years later when I worked at 660-WFAN we had three transmitters, but only the aux rig, an old RCA BTA-5R had a name. We called it "Little Nipper." Jim Seaman Germantown, MD
