Don't like being a pedant (well I do sometimes!!)

But it's Cymru (pronounced Coomree) not Cyrmu!

It does sound a lovely language though - here in South East Ireland, we can
get TV from Wales, and there is a Welsh language station called S4C -
A fair pproportion of Wales , mainly in the North) speaks Welsh as their
first language - they can all speak English too, but Welsh is a real living
language, and it is peppered with the odd English words or phrases like "you
know" - have a look at an S4C Soap Opera to see what I mean.

This programme is made by BBC wales and sold to S4C (which is sort of a
commercial station)

Technically it is related to Irish Gaelic, but in practice, there is very
little that sounds or looks the same, whereas Scots Gaelic is a lot closer
to Irish

Have a good trip, Barry!
