[BC] Another BAD website.......

I am a blind person and I have been frustrated by websites
that are inaccessible to my screen reading software.
However, I would not want *any* government regulation to
require that webmasters *must* adhere to website design just
to satisfy my requirements. I think the ADA was a bad idea
and doesn't do much good other than cost buisness and
government money.

When I encounter a website that is not accessible to me, and
I want to look at it bad enough, I'll write to the webmaster
and ask if it would be possible to make changes to make it
accessible. On the Macromedia website they have a lot of
help on how to make screen readers work with Flash and I
don't think it is very difficult to do so.

Other blind people obviously don't agree with my philosophy
but I never saw any good in antagonizing someone. It seems
to me that some people were born to advocate (annoy) but
that's not me.
