[BC] SBE Focus

What did you expect the SBE to do, send you a check every week? Give you
grief counseling? Sue your old employer? I can't understand what you would
expect the organization to do. Operating an employment database is
extremely helpful to both job seekers and employers, and I can tell you that
most of the engineering positions I have filled came by way of the SBE.
Even if that was the only thing they did, it would be a valuable
organization, but they do much more.

If the only indictment of the SBE you have is that they were late on putting
out a job listing, I would say two things. First of all, the jobs listing
work is a volunteer position. Second, if you can do it better, you should
rejoin and volunteer to make it work better.
