Bob:

Yes, the original WGNO-TV tower is on top of the Trade Mart. It was
activated in October of 1967. The transmitter was in the Master Control
area. It was on the air until we built the new tower a few miles north of
Chalmette that is referenced below. We signed the new tower on in January
1981.

The Trade Mart tower is still there. I left in Dec. 1981. They eventually
moved half of the transmitter in the Trade Mart to the new site for backup.
