No. She'll be buying the heels "for a friend." I could also assume 
you're secure in your masculinity and wouldn't mind buying them for 
yourself. Explain to the salesperson that you'll be aerating the turf 
on a golf course in a more elegant manner than usual. If you're in 
California she'll think you're a conservationist. Probably give you a discount.

I think Tom has a point. We just have to figure out a way to 
implement it. You might find your feminine side and treat equipment 
more gently and respectfully. It'll pay you back in spades. Tubes 
will last longer with a gentle touch. Let them know you love them. 
Everything has feelings. Let the inner you emerge and communicate it 
to an overworked integrated circuit. Imagine millions of transistors 
calmed at once.

The cruel ridicule from your fellow workers will dissipate once they 
see the amazing mean time between failure you bring to the table 
becomes obvious. It's good Karma. Go for it.
