[BC] Cut Antenna...

An antenna that is cut is basically cut to a single frequency. Once you
QSY it is no longer "cut". This can cause some real squirrely things to
happen. It's best to have an antenna that avoids resonance on the
fundamental as well as harmonic operating frequency. My particular antenna
is an Inverted-V, 110' on a side and fed with ladder line. It has it's own
set of stranges but for the most part it's been quite manageable. I use a
MFJ-974-H tuner.
