In the "Boss Radio" days, ca. 1965, KFWB/980, became "KFWB Channel 98".

(KDWB/910 might have become "KDWB Channel 91", I don't remember).

KNX/1070 has been Ten-Seventy, and Ten-Seven-Oh, One-Oh-Seven-Point-Oh,
and perhaps a number of other designations.

Fortunately for history's sake, Infinity hasn't been bitten by the "four
letter" bug and traded KNX in on KKNX, traded KMJ in on KKMJ, traded WWJ
in on WWWJ, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera!

(Gawd, does WWWE ever suck!)

Although trading KNXT (TV) in on KCBS-TV did seem a little out of the
box, as KCBS (AM) is located in the #5 market, while KCBS-TV is in the #2
market.

Oh, well, Los Angeles' Ch. 2's "historical" call wasn't KNXT, anyway.
