[BC] Analog Longevity

In our area... there are still enough subscriptions that are analog that
even though they'd LIKE to discontinue the service... it would probably
result in lots of bad press.
Interestingly too... my TDMA phone runs circles around my wife's GSM.  20
miles N & S of the I-30 corridor through north Texas does not seem to be a
great place for many of the cell phones  use, other that the  TDMA /and
Nextels... the rest have either 100% signal, or none.  Nothing like trying
carry on private response planning for 10-32 call when the signal goes away!
and comes back!  and goes away ! and...
