I agree, but who has the guts to tell whoever what freqs they have to give
up for this to happen? It makes no sense to me the way AM is being DESTROYED
now. People will not pay $300 for a new radio because they are mad, there
are too many other entertainment alternatives out there now. I do remember
as a small lad though, how slow manafacturers were to include FM on evmost
radios.

I can't get an answer yet about where are the radios and how will they get
people to pay $300 to $400 for a new radio. Will all this happen when the
analog stuff is shut off?

Your idea makes more sense than any I've heard, a complete separte spectrum
that won't interfere with what's already here, and different programing to
pull people away like FM did. This is not the answer.

I have yet to see production changing on analog radios--take the Grundig
sat900 with XM for example. $500 to $600 for a radio that may get shut off
before it wares out??????
