[BC] Can anyone help?

And what I've discovered is that the few that remain don't keep anything on
the shelf unless they move at least a hundred or more of them a week.

When I moved to Tupelo MS, I found Bluff City Electronics. At the time, I
thought, Great! Now I can find parts when I need them.

Nope. They don't stock transistors. They have a limited stock of 1/4 watt
and 1/2 watt resistors, a FEW 1 watt resistors. Type N connectors? We can
get'em overnight. Even fuses and light bulbs usually have to be ordered.
Their selection of capacitors I see on the rack is smaller than at Radio
Shack.

I can get lots of Cat5 cable, RJ-45 connectors, and a few varieties of small
RF connectors. Computer stuff in other words.

I'll put in a plug for Hooper's in Meridian MS. As close to an old-time
electronics supply store as I've seen lately. Practically everything I've
asked for there, they have it. It's fun to just walk down the aisles and
browse.
