I was feverishly working on my old Zenith 17" b&w TV which blew a 
tube.  I had to pull all the tubes and run down to the neighborhood 
drug store to use their tube checker and buy a tube then rush home and 
retube the entire set.  I got it working just before Neil came down 
the ladder.
