I guess the real question is "what's changed?".  The system worked ok in the past with the present setup, correct?  One thing to try would be some random lengths of coax extensions from the normal point you'd measure the reflected power.  You might be "lucky" and be at the right spot in coaxial length to not even see reflected as its being eaten up in the feed line that's close to resonance. Have you driven the path to make sure
nothing has grown up in your path, such as buildings or trash mounds from a dump, etc?  Something had to change to create your problem.  The feed horn deal might be a factor, but the system was working....
