[EAS] We're Obsolete!

Has anyone reviewed FEMA's new Glossary of Acronyms, Abbreviations and
Terms, aka the FAAT List? According to page 125 EAS is obsolete: "Obsolete:
Emergency Alert System Replaced by: Digital Emergency Alert System (DEAS)".
Not only is EAS obsolete, DEAS, page 104, is also obsolete, "Obsolete:
Digital Emergency Alert System Replaced by: IPAWS Open Platform for
Emergency Networks (OPEN)". And IPAWS, page 215 displays as "Integrated
Public Alert and Warning System". 

 

Guess I have some extra editing to do on the 2023 EAS/Integrated Public
Alert and Warning System Plan.
