My friend and CSI Telecom colleague said:

"This is prime example of why I believe there needs to be national
security standards set for critical distributed IT infrastructure and
communications.

Unfortunately, the dinosaurs that that 'own' and 'run' this country
don't understand (or worse, don't give a damn) and I fear we're going to
have to experience a 'Holy sh*t, Pearl Harbor - 9/11' type moment for
things to change. And it will happen... "

I remember when KQED had their attack one friend that works there said
"And they sent me to the hardware store to buy more chisels."

The advantage, if any, of turning a carrier off and on three times is
that it was locally controlled.
