Colleagues - I've been intentionally staying away from this conversation, because there has been way too much unfounded speculation, conjecture and - frankly - incorrect info.
In terms of positive action, all EAS Participants should be doing what they normally should do: make sure your EAS gear is properly secured in your network (e.g. good firewall protection, keeping up-to-date on all EAS manufacturer software releases, and changing your passwords and access - such as when you have staff turnover, etc. In other words ... business as usual.
See the FCC Enforcement Bureau reminder on those very points from just last week.
The speculation is entertaining, though ...
