Darryl was the Ultimate Gentleman in every sense. Some of us recall the year
that TFT purchased booth space at NAB but things didn't quite work out.
Darryl ordered up some cushy carpet and a couple of white couches, creating
a oasis of sorts for tired show attendees with aching backs and sore feet.
Anyone was welcome to sit for a spell and enjoy some conversation.

I am deeply saddened that I'll never see that warm smile accompanied by an
amused twinkle in his eyes as he launched into another story.
