Gary,

If you set up a filter than only matches the alert you want, set it to a higher priority than any other log only filter that might match it, set the action to timed ignore, and also set the hold time to zero, you will record the alert and make it so that it can't be forwarded by manual intervention.

Sometimes it would be useful to be able to hear the audio of a Log Only event that wasn't anticipated in the programming of that event, or maybe its just a one-time event you'd like to hear.  That Log Only audio would be nice.
