I note that the RadioList SPAM protection seems to have managed the new group address.
It is https://groups.io/g/Sac-SierraEAS.
Hope that helps.

EAS and the Sac-Sierra EAS region in California was an unexpected, but major topic of the noon Sacramento SBE Chapter 43 meeting today (March 30, 2021.)
As a result, THIS new groups.io list --https://groups.io/g/Sac-SierraEAS--was organized to bring participants together, and make the system work, and work better.
The intent is to connect people that have an "oar" in successful deployment and operation of EAS.
"For Broadcasters, Cable System Operators, Federal, State, County and Local Emergency Management and Public Safety managers and employees.
Sac-SierraEAS is focused on connecting participants for the development, operation, maintenance and training related to the federally mandated Emergency Alert System in the Sacramento Valley and Western Sierra Slope.
It includes these counties and sections of counties:
North ZoneCounties of Butte, Glenn, Plumas*, Sierra* & Tehama
Mid-North ZoneCounties of Colusa, Sutter and Yuba
Central ZoneCounties of Alpine*, Amador, El Dorado*, Nevada*, Placer*, Sacramento, & Yolo
South ZoneSan Joaquin and Calaveras

*(Except portions east of the Sierra Crest: Alpine, El Dorado, Placer, Nevada, Plumas, Sierra which are part of the Western
Nevada-Eastern California Operational Area EAS Plan served out of Reno.)
Here is the service area, (without the Sierra Crest dividing line.)

Volunteers are also needed to help identify and bring aboard our region's essential parties. Can you spare some time? (No dime required.)
You may already know some of the folks, like broadcast station management and engineers, or local OES officials.
Please share this with appropriate people so that we can kick-start what's needed to better protect our listeners and viewers as another dry summer and fire season approaches.
Thanks,
Ted
