Do you have a link to where they posted this? I was just wondering the other day about this. In Denver over the weekend a very generic severe thunderstorm warning (I assume due to protests) was sent to phones, but the alert was *very* general. No information about the hazards of the storm at all.
The alert said something just like "severe weather in Denver. Take cover now."
We also had alerts very early in the evening (maybe 6 or 7p) about 10pm curfews in Colorado.

They reported that, as of June 4th, 2020, authorities issued 30 EAS alerts, and 155 Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) messages across the United States. These alerts provided information about curfews, road closures, and public transportation cancellations.
