Google announced yesterday (June 6, 2019) a new update for its Google Map 
services.  Its adding visual information about natural disasters to maps 
and improving its navigation warning system while generating routing (i.e. 
driving directions).  This adds detailed visualizations for hurricanes, 
earthquakes and floods.

This is a more personalized version of Google's previous "SOS Alerts" 
feature which displays an information warning card at the top of search 
results when authoritative sources issue warnings, primarily official 
government agencies using CAP public alerts.
