It could be our WFO is participating in a test or special program which
included additional information in a given warning. Or, as is the case
with a great number of counties, there is no interstate or large venue in
the county to mention. However, most warnings I'm hearing or reading do
have local towns/cities in the path included in the message.

As I noted in my post to Mr. Curtis, I would argue 90% of the general
public would not know what county they're in when not at/close to home.
When I'm out of our metro, I'm in that camp.  I don't have location
tracking enabled on my phone (nor do I care to) and am just as blind as
the guy in the hotel room next door until I log onto the NWS WFO site and
find the county. Something less than 1% of the public will do in their
travels without reason to do so.
