I recall a mention that there was a generator running at the site but I was curious as well.  Unless they stopped to take a nap and something happened to the genset exhaust or a heater, this rolling hillander was wondering too.

I can't imagine working in an environment with high enough CO to cause death without knowing it.  Even a small dose gives me an instant splitting headache...
