The NWS Pacific Hurricane Forecast Office (PHFO/NWS) started issuing
messages for Olivia Sunday. So far, everything's been for Maui or the
"Central Pacific Ocean". 

My brother and his wife, on the west side of the Blue Ridge, are already
sheltering a friends from the Outer Banks.
