To be first. To do something different. A challenge.

I believe the future will be going to AOIP (of some flavor) and want to 
make sure I am prepared.  As a vendor of EAS devices, I can't tell you 
how difficult it has been to provide support to every station, each 
setup just a little different. The "one size fits all" model doesn't 
work.  Integrating to digital consoles, will potentially make it much 
more standardized and easier to interface EAS into the audio chain, when 
protocols such as AES67 are more widely adopted.

Thanks, I have looked around and you are correct, there doesn't seem to 
be any commonalities or set standards for what I am asking about.
