To be first. To do something different. A challenge.
I believe the future will be going to AOIP (of some flavor) and want to
make sure I am prepared. As a vendor of EAS devices, I can't tell you
how difficult it has been to provide support to every station, each
setup just a little different. The "one size fits all" model doesn't
work. Integrating to digital consoles, will potentially make it much
more standardized and easier to interface EAS into the audio chain, when
protocols such as AES67 are more widely adopted.
Thanks, I have looked around and you are correct, there doesn't seem to
be any commonalities or set standards for what I am asking about.
Really appreciate your feedback
