Happy New Year from Canada

I have been testing open source EAS player code with a dev unit from
AXIA, a DESQ and Qor16.  We can send out a Livewire RTP stream to the
board where it shows as a channel with levels.  Qor sends out an RTP
stream to our player with a mix of mics/inputs and playout audio from
the machine to an icecast mount point that is picked up by the Barix at
radio transmitter site.

For new user or retrofit of station with separate automation, they can
configure EAS alert player to create a Alert and have the qor recognize
our output from DB9 to the qor GPIO plug. When immediate BI alert plays,
a relay is triggered then the channel overrides in the QOR, plays the
alert until the relay is reset and then resumes from normal source.   We
have the capability to create an on demand RTP stream when an alert is
issued for the Qor as a multicast address to detect and overide an
incoming channel.

The question I have, is there anyone that has knowledge of scripting,
standards or experience with flashing board and tally lights on newer
digital consoles while EAS\CAP event are in progress that can be
controlled with GPIO?

I have read through varies documentation of AOIP boards this is
possible, and thought to ask this group if there was already existing
models or standards.

Stay Warm, it is -33 C here in the Yukon.

Rob
