[EAS] ALERT Act introduced in Senate - Authenticating Local Emergencies and Real Threats (ALERT) Act

A good start for a long overdue clarification of alert and warning responsibility.

I hope this bill is enacted and the President signs it into law.

Congress needs to go the rest of the way and put into law the real overall warning strategy called for more than 15 years ago in the PPW, Inc. reports to FEMA, the FCC, NWS, and other agencies.
