Not my area of expertise... just curious... anyone have any idea about 
how much it WOULD cost to move it to the cloud?  I should think that the 
basic migration would be easy as I presume it is running on either a 
Windows or Linux machine at that residence... should be able to just 
directly move it to essentially a virtual machine running the same OS.  
But then you'd have more robust Internet connection, someone else 
worrying about hardware failures, etc.  I just don't have any idea what 
the costs are.  I would guess it isn't overly resource intensive, so 
maybe we'd be pleasantly surprised...

That, of course, is a separate matter from whether the code itself could 
use improvements.  If the current volunteer was willing to post his 
source code, I suspect there would be other volunteers willing to offer 
code improvements.

In any event... Al... please pass on our thanks to this individual. I'm 
sure I speak for many on this list that we appreciate his efforts.
