The important question is whether any of the advisory committees will ask 
and try to answer what is the real mission and goal?

Emergency managers and news broadcasters do a great job with disasters 
forecasted in advance, e.g. hurricanes, winter storms, etc. They also 
provide wall-to-wall coverage during the recovery phase.

So what is the mission and performance goals for EAS, WEA and IPAWS? They 
need to be written down and published.
