Lily Thomlin was so far ahead of her time. "We don't care; we don't
have to." Understand that Humboldt County is working to connect to
L3 for Internet. L3 goes through Winnemucca but not very near
anything useful to the county so they're going to put in a last mile
microwave hop.
And AT&T will bring us FirstNet. Yeah, right.
Am told that AT&T owned underground cable vaults through NV for their
analog carrier but decided to use aerial fiber runs because it was
less expensive to install.
Remember that the name "AT&T" is used by the SBC telecom speculators.
