Yep.  It seems like several law enforcement officials treat WEA as a 
revved up version of Twitter.  Let's tweet stuff.

Life-safety warnings are posted on facebook, while WEA was used to 
announce moving a election polling place due to a power outage 
(Immediate/Extreme/Observed).
