The multiple Cesium clocks at WWV and WWVB at Fort Collins, Colorado, are
good to one part in 10 to the minus 12th. Same with the three Cesium clocks
at WWVH (Kauai). Two of three clocks must agree (I saw them on Kauai last
May), or the transmitters automatically shut down and generate an alarm.

This is the NIST gold standard for time.

WWV personnel have occasionally noticed that GPS time is off, and informed
GPS operators so they can correct it. The number of birds in the air is
irrelevant. I trust WWV over any other time source.

Phil Johnson (K7BNU)

"Why would a WWVB receiver be more reliable than the constellation of GPS
satellites?
WWVB represents one transmitter site while GPS has many birds in the air."
