Speaking as one of the 17 founding Trustees for the Partnership For Public Warning that came up with the Common Alerting Protocol, reports that we wrote that went to DHS/FEMA, NOAA, and the FCC among others warning research that says that people at risk are more likely to take protective actions in warnings if they receive warnings from multiple sources.

A WEA reinforced by an EAS activation for the same life safety event has a greater likelihood for saving lives -- based on serious scholarly research.
