It should be noted to distinguish that most of these events were not
pre-planned ambushes to where there was clear indication of such an
outcome. The Baltimore/NYC situation is the first I've heard where one
agency wasn't able to get a message to another distant agency with such
information.

So, some additional distillation of the data might reveal the uniqueness
of this particular unfortunate event where it was known that such an
ambush was pending. This is unlike the Baton Rouge ambush (among a few
others) which there was no prior knowledge of a police office ambush.
