So long as we are making recommendations:
I have all DASDEC equipment, so it may be a bit different for other manufacturers - but it seems to me that if a box is capable of receiving a CAP message via internet, and in our case - can then send notification of receipt and forwarding to me via email (I had hundreds of emails within 2 minutes after the test), then there is no friggin reason in the world why those same messages can't also be sent to the FCC (just think - I can add a "bozo at fcc.gov" email address to the outgoing mail slot), and then there would be no reason in the world why I or anyone else would have to be fighting a poorly designed web page in order to notify the FCC not only whether our boxes received/forwarded - but who from, what times, etc.
A decent programmer could even parse the data out from the emails as it pours in, and turn it into a wonderful excel spreadsheet.
Awe, what am I thinking. That would take qualified people, and all of them have been fired in lieu of lawyers and relatives of politicians...
