He's not "micro managing" anything. I happen to agree that this should be no more than voice grade audio. It sounds better, it's far more intelligible than FEMA attempting to sound like Westwood1. It didn't sound good on the Dasdec because it lost all of its punch. And on the air it sounds like anyone else in normal programming... Drab. What sets this apart immediately is that it's not lost in the background of any other programming when it's simply clean voice grade communication. Getting attention is the entire point
