[EAS] Fire

That sounds bad Bill.
It always saddens me to see things like that.
While a wild fire may give plenty of time for evacuations, it also leaves those evacuated with lots of time to think about what may happen.

It also raised a question.

What sort of event would constitute the cancellation of tomorrow's EAS test?
Wildfires can cover many hundreds of miles and impact the lives and properties of thousands if not millions of people.
It would seem that having an EAS test while a portion of the country is burning seems out of place.
On the other hand one could argue that if test and real alert priorities are set properly that it should matter to the unaffected population.
After all, there will probably be some bad event happening somewhere tomorrow.
Who decides how big of an event it would take to cause a retest at a later date?
The Fed does have a bail-out date for tomorrow's test.
I'm just curious, what event would cause such a bailout other than an actual national alert in which the Fed would have to generate an EAN/000000.

And if the test were postponed, what happens to ETRS reporting that is due before the end of the day EDT?
Would we still do form 2 and just report that we did not receive the test and did not relay the test and use form three for the details of why?
I assume such an event that would cause cancellation of the test would not allow for the dissemination of the word that the test has been postponed?
